Susie McCabe Wins Sir Billy Connolly Spirit of Glasgow Award

Congratulations to Susie McCabe on winning the Sir Billy Connolly Spirit of Glasgow Award 2024.

The festival outlines that ‘The award honours criteria both the city of Glasgow and Sir Billy Connolly represent from resilience to openness and of course, a sense of humour’.

Susie accepted the award at the festival’s Comedy Gala, which she hosted and even received a personalised video from the man himself saying ‘I watched you on television and was blown sideways’.
