ROMESH AND THE LAST LEG WIN ROYAL TELEVISION SOCIETY AWARDS
Congratulations to Romesh Ranganathan and The Last Leg’s cast and production team for winning awards in their respective categories at the Royal Television Society Awards on Tuesday.
Competing against Bobby Friction and Michael Palin in the Presenter category, critics noted that Romesh ‘brought genuine originality to every scene’ of The Misadventures of Romesh Ranganathan, ‘making the whole endeavour distinctive and very special.’
The Last Leg, winning the Entertainment category award against Britain’s Got Talent and Don’t Hate The Playaz, was said to be ‘bold and totally brilliant, entertaining its audience with seemingly endless creative inventiveness.’
The awards seek to recognise programmes which have made a material and positive contribution to their genre. Well done to all!
