WINS FOR OFF THE KERB ACTS AT THE ROYAL TELEVISION SOCIETY AWARDS

Hosted by renowned British television and radio presenter Jonathan Ross, the prestigious Royal Television Society Awards took place on Tuesday 16th March 2021.

This year, the awards included the new Comedy Entertainment category, alongside the existing Entertainment category, and we are delighted that both awards were won by shows involving Off The Kerb talent.

The new Comedy Entertainment Award was awarded to The Ranganation, hosted by Romesh Ranganathan. Judges praised the ‘genuinely funny, laugh-out loud event – the perfect showcase for the huge talent of its star.’

The Entertainment Award went to The Masked Singer where Joel Dommett is host and Jonathan Ross sits on the judging panel. Judges described the show as ‘a smartly produced, joyful, silly, escapist family watch… and just what we all need right now.’

Judi Love also accepted the Daytime Programme Award alongside her fellow presenters for ITV’s Loose Women. Judges said the show ‘makes a real connection with its audience – making them laugh, making them think.’
