Susie McCabe’s brilliant storytelling, acute observations and killer punchlines have made her one of the most sought-after performers in the UK. She has supported the likes of Kevin Bridges, Frankie Boyle, Ardal O’Hanlon, John Bishop and Jason Manford on their national tours.
With 6 sell-out shows at the Glasgow International Comedy Festival, she has established herself as stalwart of the festival, selling out 3 shows at the Glasgow King’s Theatre as well as venues up and down Scotland. Her latest show The Merchant of Menace even won Best New Show at the Leicester Comedy Festival in 2024. This year also saw Susie win the Sir Billy Connolly Spirit of Glasgow award, personally chosen by the man himself. 2024 will see Susie take her much anticipated show The Merchant of Menace to the Edinburgh Fringe.
Susie is a regular on BBC’s topical telly and radio, appearing on Have I Got News for You, Live at the Apollo, Breaking The News, News Quiz, Just a Minute and Times Radio as well as making several appearances on Frankie Boyle’s New World Order. She can also hold her own on sports coverage, appearing regularly on Off The Ball and Six Nations Breakfast Show.
Susie can also be heard as a co-host on her regular podcast Here Comes The Guillotine, alongside Frankie Boyle and Christopher Macarthur Boyd where they share their subversive and darkly funny opinions on the chaos of the world, offering wholly unqualified dissent to popular opinion.
