Originally from Widnes, Cheshire, Matt Tedford is an actor, comedian and writer. Matt came to prominence with an award-winning portrayal of Margaret Thatcher in the hit show Margaret Thatcher Queen of Soho. The show has played to sold-out crowds around the UK and internationally, from the Dublin International Gay Theatre Festival, to the Adelaide Cabaret Festival, culminating in a sold-out UK Tour and two sold-out runs at the Edinburgh Fringe (2014, 2015). 2016 & 2017 saw Matt star as Maggie in Margaret Thatcher Queen of Game Shows at the Edinburgh Fringe – the show went on to be in the top 5 best reviewed shows of any genre at the Fringe.
